October 10, 2021 - Knight battles with Lucas Oil foes at Dixie and Rome
Cla Knight made the short trip to Dixie Speedway (Woodstock, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon to compete with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) for the Dixie Shootout. In a field of 39 cars, Cla fell one spot short of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth-place finish. For the Rome Showdown on Sunday at Rome Speedway (Rome, Ga.), Knight clocked in fourth fastest overall before placing third in his heat. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in seventh, Cla salvaged a 17th-place outing after getting in a tangle with another competitor on lap 34.

September 25, 2021 - Cla Knight Clinches 2021 Ultimate Southeast Super Late Model Series Championship and Rookie of the Year Title
Consider it mission accomplished for Cla Knight. Via his performances in the series’ 2021 finale on Saturday night at Modoc Raceway, the 26-year-old South Carolina racer clinched both the Ultimate Southeast Series Super Late Model Championship and Rookie of the Year title.

With the feat, he entered rare air, joining Tyler Millwood as the only driver to ever claim both titles in the same year on the tour.

“What an amazing feeling to officially clinch both the Championship and the Rookie title. As a team we worked so hard and learned so much this year. The Super Late Model division is no joke, and every single night there’s a ton of guys who can get the job done. We took our lumps, kept digging, and it’s great to win our first Super Late Model series title,’ Knight said. “We’ve got so many great folks behind our program, and without their support there’s no way we could’ve got to this point. I thank each-and-every one of them.

“While the points season for us may be over, we definitely aren’t done this year though. We’ve got several races still on the schedule, and we’re going to try and grab some wins.”

Saturday evening found Knight taking his E-Z-GO / Allstar Concrete No. 42 Augusta Aquatics / M&W Transport / Barry Wright Race Car / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, S.C.). The $4,000-to-win Clarks Hill Classic was sanctioned by the Ultimate Southern Series, and Cla earned the third-starting spot for the feature via preliminary action. He ran in the Topp-5 throughout the finale before registering a fourth-place finish behind Brandon Overton, Brent Dixon, and John Henderson.

September 14, 2021 - 10th-place finish in Shrine Race at Laurens
Tuesday night found Cla Knight in action at Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, S.C.) for the 40th annual Shrine Race. With 18 Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series entries registered, Knight followed up the eighth fastest qualifying effort with a 10th-place finish in the 40-lap feature.

September 5, 2021 - Top-5 finish in Working Man 50 at Lancaster
Cla Knight continued his pursuit of the 2021 ULTIMATE Southeast Late Model Series championship on Saturday night at Lancaster Speedway with a podium finish in his E-Z-GO No. 42 Augusta Aquatics / M&W Transport / Barry Wright Race Car / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model.

“We had a busy weekend with four races in four days. We made the Outlaws show on Thursday night at Cherokee but didn’t get the finish we wanted. Lavonia with the Outlaws on Friday, the night started strong with us making it to the redraw, but we were a little off for the feature and slid back to an 11th-place finish. Our biggest focus this year is getting the ULTIMATE championship and we were able to add to our points lead with a third-place finish on Saturday night at Lavonia. We rounded out the weekend with a 10th-place finish on Sunday night with the Carolina Clash Series at Cherokee,” Knight shared. “All-in-all it was a pretty good weekend for our team, and we’ll keep digging as we enter the final few months of the season.”

Lifting the lid on his Labor Day weekend, Cla Knight traveled to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) on Thursday afternoon for the Rock Gault Memorial. With 33 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries on hand, Knight secured his spot into the $40,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. Starting in 14th, Cla was an early retiree from the 60-lapper with 10 circuits remaining. He was credited with a 23rd-place finish.

The following night at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) for Charlie Mize Memorial, Cla’s second-place finish in his heat race promoted him into the World of Outlaws redraw. Starting the feature in third, Knight slipped eight spots in the 40-lap affair to place 11th.

On Saturday afternoon at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, S.C.) for the ULTIMATE Southeast Series-sanctioned Working Man 50, Knight earned the third-starting position for the main event via his time trial effort. With $5,000 on the line, Cla raced in a podium position throughout the feature to register a third-place finish. He followed Dennis Franklin and Ben Watkins across the line with Michael Brown and Dean Bowen rounding out the Top-5.

The weekend drew to a close on Sunday night with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series Hall of Fame 50. Cla earned the 12th-starting spot for the feature and advanced a pair of positions to finish 10th in the $7,500-to-win affair.

With his performance on Saturday night, Cla now holds a 21-point advantage atop the latest ULTIMATE standings and also has clinched the Rookie of the Year title.

August 28, 2021 - Knight scores sixth-place finish in Ultimate stop at Friendship
On Saturday afternoon, Cla Knight was one of 18 Ultimate Southeast Series entries on hand at Friendship Motor Speedway (Elkin, N.C.) for the $4,000 prize. Earning the sixth-starting position for the A-Main via his time trial result, Knight held his spot for all 40 laps to finish sixth.

August 21, 2021 - Fourth-place finish in Clyde Dedmon Memorial at Harris

July 3, 2021 - Podium finish in Max King Memorial at Lavonia
Friday night saw Cla Knight return with the Ultimate Southeast Series at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) for the Max King Memorial. In a field of 17 cars, Knight locked his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main with the second fastest time in his group behind Ethan Wilson. Starting in fourth, Knight improved one spot in the 40-lapper to register a third-place finish. He trailed Ross Bailes and Ethan Wilson to the checkers with Kenny Collins and Nick Schlager rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday afternoon at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), Cla came in fastest in his group, which positioned him on the pole for the main event. With $4,000 on the line, Knight slipped back to a 12th-place outing.

June 26, 2021 - Cla Knight attends Firecracker 100 weekend at Lernerville
Making his Firecracker 100 weekend debut, Cla Knight traveled to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) on Thursday afternoon for the 15th edition of the three-day event. For another preliminary feature on Friday afternoon, Cla posted a seventh-place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the $6,000-to-win A-Main, Knight recorded a seventh-place finish.

With preliminary results determining the starting lineups for heat races on Saturday, Knight jumped up two spots in the 10-lapper to finish seventh. Transferring into the B-Main for one final shot at the $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100, Cla slipped back to a 14th-place outing.

May 29, 2021 - Knight finishes 12th at Cherokee Speedway

May 22, 2021 - Runner-up finish in Summer Kickoff at Modoc Raceway

May 15, 2021 - 10th place finish in King of Commonwealth at VMS; tied for second in Ultimate point standings
Friday night found Cla Knight in action at Natural Bridge Speedway (Natural Bridge, Va.) to kick off the Ultimate Southeast Series doubleheader weekend with the Road to Jamaica. Earning the fifth-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main via preliminary events, Knight held his spot for the entire distance of the 40-lapper to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Brandon Overton, Ross Bailes, Trever Feathers, and Zack Mitchell to the checkers.

On Saturday evening at Virginia Motor Speedway (Jamaica, Va.) for the King of the Commonwealth, Cla laid down the fourth fastest time in his group before grabbing the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat race. With $20,000 on the line in the feature, Knight improved five spots in the 60-lapper to finish 10th.

May 1, 2021 - Knight tops Ultimate field at Lancaster for first career Late Model win

Not only did it mark his first-career Ultimate Super Late Series victory, but it also marked his first-career Super Late Model win aboard his E-Z-GO No. 42 Augusta Aquatics / M&W Transport / Barry Wright Race Car / Clements Racing Engine Super Late Model. “We’re just a small team, you know?” Knight said in victory lane.

“We’re trying to make it and I’m trying to do the best I can and we’re just real excited to get one. We enjoyed success in the Crate Late Model division, but it’s been a major adjustment with the Super Late Model. To get this first win in the Super… it just allows me to finally feel some accomplishment, and hopefully this is the first of many wins to come.

“While we’ve faced our fair share of adversity in the Super Late Model division, my family, my team and my sponsors have never doubted me, and that has meant the world to me. This win is dedicated to them.”

Cla Knight returned to action with the Ultimate Southeast Series on Friday evening at Laurens County Speedway (Laurens, S.C.) in the Ronnie Brookshire Memorial. In a field of 17 cars, Cla laid down the eighth-fastest time in qualifying, which positioned him eighth on the starting grid for the $4,014-to-win A-Main. Clawing forward one spot in the 40-lap affair, Knight recorded a seventh-place outing.

The following night at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, S.C.), Knight locked into the second-starting position for the A-Main via his qualifying effort. Inheriting the lead from early pacesetter Zack Mitchell on lap 20, Cla led the remainder of the 40-lapper to record his first career Super Late Model victory over Ben Watkins, Jeff Smith, Ross Bailes, and Kenny Collins. He pocketed $4,000 for his maiden trip to Victory Lane in the Super Late Model division.

March 26, 2021 - 16th place finish in Rock Gault Memorial opener
Friday night found Cla Knight in action at Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series-sanctioned Rock Gault Memorial. With the 43-car field split into two separate groups for a pair of preliminary features, Cla posted an eighth-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 16th on the starting grid for his A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Knight held his spot for the entire distance of the 25-lapper to finish 16th.

Persistent rain overnight postponed Saturday’s $40,000-to-win finale to a later date to be named.

March 20, 2021 - Cla Knight attends Bristol Dirt Nationals at Bristol
Cla Knight was one of 55 Super Late Models on hand at Bristol Motor Speedway (Bristol, Tenn.) on Friday afternoon as the famed facility covered the half-mile oval with dirt for inaugural Karl Kustoms Bristol Dirt Nationals. Following the 16th fastest time in his qualifying group, Knight logged a 10th place finish in his heat, giving him one final shot at the opening night feature with a B-Main appearance. Slated to start near the tail, Cla made the decision to scratch from the 10-lapper to prepare for Saturday night’s finale.

March 13, 2021 - Knight scores sixth place finish at Cochran
Cla Knight invaded Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Ga.) on Friday evening for the rescheduled Gobbler 100 from November 28th. With his spot already locked into the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Knight was an early retiree from the 75-lapper on lap 31.

February 27, 2021 - Early exit in Xtreme DIRTcar finale at Modoc Raceway
On Saturday afternoon, Cla Knight followed the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series to Modoc Raceway (Modoc, S.C.) for the final round of the six-race mini-series. Drawing 29 Late Models, Knight edged his way into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth place finish in his heat. Rolling off 12th, Cla made contact with an infield yuke tire near the halfway point that saw him retire on lap 21.

February 21, 2021 - Podium finish with Xtreme DIRTcar Series at Lake View

Cla Knight visited Lake View (S.C.) Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon to kick off a doubleheader with the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series. In a field of 26 cars, Knight recorded the sixth fastest time overall in qualifying before picking up an eight-lap heat race victory.

Receiving the fourth-starting position for the $7,000-to-win A-Main via the redraw, Cla clawed forward one spot in the 40-lap affair to register a third-place finish, trailing Ross Bailes and Matthew Nance across the line. Dustin Mitchell and Stewart Friesen completed the Top-5 finishers.

On Sunday afternoon at Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, S.C. for the Frostbite 40, Cla timed in third fastest overall in qualifying. After getting shuffled back to a fifth-place finish in his heat, Cla locked into 15th starting position for the finale. With $5,000 on the line, Knight improved eight spots in the 40-lapper to come home seventh.

“What a great way to start the year,” Knight said after finishing third in his first-ever visit to Lake View Motor Speedway. “Two solid finishes this weekend, all in all, a great way to kick off the season. Thanks to my crew and all of our amazing sponsors for their continued support!”

Next up for Cla Knight is the $7,000-to-win, Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series finale this Saturday, February 27 at Modoc (S.C.) Raceway.

February 16, 2021 - Cla Knight to Run for 2021 Ultimate Super Late Model Series Rookie of the Year
Cla Knight and his team are setting their goals high for the 2021 campaign. The South Carolina-based operation is preparing for their most ambitious schedule to date as they prepare to pursue the 2021 Ultimate Super Late Model Series Rookie of the Year title.

“Over the past few seasons we have ran races on every scale and with every Super Late Model series throughout the Southeast,” said Knight. “However, this year we want to commit to a series schedule, and we really feel that the Ultimate Super Late Model Series will push our team to new heights. Running for the 2021 Rookie of the Year in the Ultimate Series is one heck of a goal, but I’m ready to push myself, my car and my team.”

November 28, 2020 - Gobbler 100 finale at Cochran postponed to March 12th
On Friday afternoon Cla Knight invaded Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Ga.) to pilot his Augusta Aquatics No. 42 Late Model for the two-day Gobbler 100. November 22, 2020 - Cla Knight bags Top-10 finish in Blue-Gray 100 at Cherokee
Cla Knight was one of 18 Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series entries on hand at Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, S.C.) on Saturday afternoon for the Palmetto State 50. Coming in fifth in his heat race, Cla secured his spot into the opening night feature. With $10,000 on the line, Knight was an early retiree from the 50-lap affair on lap 29.

On Sunday, Knight followed the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series to Cherokee Speedway (Gaffney, S.C.) for the event co-sanctioned with the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series. In a field of 28 cars, Cla came in second fastest overall in time trials before placing second in his heat behind Jonathan Davenport. November 14, 2020 - Knight comes in third in Jack Starrette Memorial at Modoc
Saturday night saw Cla Knight return with the Ultimate Southeast Series at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, S.C.) for the 10th annual Jack Starrette Memorial. Drawing 20 cars, Knight timed in sixth fastest overall, which positioned him on the third row for the $5,022-to-win A-Main. November 6, 2020 - Top-5 finish with Ultimate Southeast Series at Lancaster
After Covid-19 restrictions postponed the Can-Am World Finals to 2021, Cla Knight traveled to the Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) on Wednesday evening for the Last Call. In a stout field of 55 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Knight came in fifth in his heat before grabbing the second and final transfer spot in his B-Main behind Cade Dillard. For another $12,000-to-win A-Main on Thursday evening, Cla posted a sixth place finish in his heat, giving him one final shot at the finale with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Knight logged an eighth place outing.

On Friday evening, Knight headed to Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, S.C.) for the Ultimate Southeast Series sanctioned program. Laying down the third fastest time in his qualifying group, Cla locked into the sixth-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main.
