Knight comes in third in Jack Starrette Memorial at Modoc

Saturday night saw Cla Knight return with the Ultimate Southeast Series at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, S.C.) for the 10th annual Jack Starrette Memorial. Drawing 20 cars, Knight timed in sixth fastest overall, which positioned him on the third row for the $5,022-to-win A-Main. Jumping up three spots in the 40-lapper, Cla scored a third place finish behind Dennis Franklin and Johnny Pursley with Jeff Smith and Brett Hamm rounding out the Top-5. (Richard Barnes photo)
