For another $12,000-to-win A-Main on Thursday evening, Cla posted a sixth place finish in his heat, giving him one final shot at the finale with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 2 into the show, Knight logged an eighth place outing.
On Friday evening, Knight headed to Lancaster Speedway (Lancaster, S.C.) for the Ultimate Southeast Series sanctioned program. Laying down the third fastest time in his qualifying group, Cla locked into the sixth-starting position for the $5,000-to-win A-Main.
