Podium finish in Max King Memorial at Lavonia

Friday night saw Cla Knight return with the Ultimate Southeast Series at Lavonia Speedway (Lavonia, Ga.) for the Max King Memorial. In a field of 17 cars, Knight locked his spot into the $4,000-to-win A-Main with the second fastest time in his group behind Ethan Wilson. Starting in fourth, Knight improved one spot in the 40-lapper to register a third-place finish. He trailed Ross Bailes and Ethan Wilson to the checkers with Kenny Collins and Nick Schlager rounding out the Top-5.

On Saturday afternoon at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), Cla came in fastest in his group, which positioned him on the pole for the main event. With $4,000 on the line, Knight slipped back to a 12th-place outing.

Cla holds an 8-point advantage atop the Ultimate Southeast Series point standings.
