Cla Knight attends Firecracker 100 weekend at Lernerville

Making his Firecracker 100 weekend debut, Cla Knight traveled to Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) on Thursday afternoon for the 15th edition of the three-day event. Drawing 53 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries, Knight fell short of a transfer position in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main. For another preliminary feature on Friday afternoon, Cla posted a seventh-place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Needing to place second or better to make the $6,000-to-win A-Main, Knight recorded a seventh-place finish.

With preliminary results determining the starting lineups for heat races on Saturday, Knight jumped up two spots in the 10-lapper to finish seventh. Transferring into the B-Main for one final shot at the $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100, Cla slipped back to a 14th-place outing.
