Runner-up finish in Summer Kickoff at Modoc Raceway

Cla Knight was one of 14 Late Models on hand at Modoc Raceway (Modoc, S.C.) on Saturday afternoon for the E-Z-Go Summer Kickoff. With time trial results placing him third on the starting grid for the $7,500-to-win A-Main, Knight clawed forward one spot in the 50-lapper to register a runner-up finish. He followed Ross Bailes to the checkers with Brent Dixon, Anthony Sanders, and Jordy Nipper rounding out the Top-5.
