Cla Knight follows Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Smoky Mountain Speedway
Starting out his busy weekend, Cla Knight traveled to Lavonia (Ga.) Speedway for the $5,000-to-win Carolina Clash event.
With 24 Late Models in the pit area, Knight started the 40-lap feature from 13th and brought home an 18th-place finish.
Making the long haul to the Volunteer State, Cla Knight was one of 44 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series Late Models at Smoky Mountain Speedway (Maryville, Tenn.) on Saturday afternoon for the King of the Mountain.
Stopping the clock sixth-fastest in his qualifying group, Knight grabbed the final transfer spot in his heat race to earn a spot in the $15,000-to-win main event. Fading throughout the 50-lap feature, Cla was an early retiree and finished 26th.
Knight is currently 15th in the HTFSDS point standings.
